BME Graduate Student Association semi-annual volleyball tournament fundraiser.
The BME Graduate Student Association would like to invite everyone to the fall edition of our semi-annual volleyball tournament fundraiser! The volleyball tournament will be held on Wyatt Lawn (same location as the event last fall) on Friday, October 21st from 4:00-9 P.M. and will support the BME GSA’s outreach programs at Glencliff High School's Engineering Academy. The tournament format will be 16 teams with up to 5 people/team, best 2 out of 3 games per match. Entry fee is $10/person ($50/team) or 5$/person for non-players paid by cash or credit the day of the tournament. We will be grilling out and providing some food and drinks for all attendees as well as cornhole and frisbee games for those not playing in the tournament, plus great prizes for the tournament champions! To sign up, send an email to vanderbilt.bme.gsa@gmail.com with your team name and roster. Also please RSVP yourself and your team for the event on AnchorLink so we can make sure to provide enough food for everyone. Come out and enjoy meeting other graduate students, food, drinks, and some volleyball all for a great cause! Hope to see lots of you there, and if you have any questions feel free to contact myself or any of the BME GSA officers!
